August Basic Pistol Class

NWSA Outdoor report for July 2026
- Crab seasons, in most areas, open 2 July, Thursday – Monday. Make sure to check the regulations as there are some new closures compared to last year. Test your crabbing knowledge at: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/8eff1b63f9ed4514b1b60b0ae1faaf23
- Salmon fishing is open in Area 6 for fin clipped coho on 1 July. While not prime time, it gives you a chance.
- Chinook season is scheduled to open for three days, 16 – 18 July, in some local marine areas. While it’s a pittance compared to the old days, it is still worth the time and effort.
