NWSA Outdoor report for August 2026
- Crabbing continues to be very good with a noticeable reduction in the number of participants. The season continues until 7 September in most areas. Check the regs.
- Salmon seasons are open in nearby waters. Most require a boat but bank fishing is available at Fort Casey and Deception Pass.
- Fall bear season opened in most areas on 1 August. Check the regs.
