  • PROJECT CHILDSAFE
    Project ChildSafe is the largest, most comprehensive firearm safety education program in the U.S. It was developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, and is committed to promoting genuine firearm safety through the distribution of safety education messages and free firearm Safety Kits.

Our Facilities

Our facilities include: a rifle range with ranges of 100, 150, and 200 yards; three pistol ranges with distances of 25, 50 and 60 yards; two trap ranges; and a static archery range with distances out to 60 yards. Our clubhouse—which includes a full kitchen—is used for classes, meetings, and also for a potluck hosted monthly for members and their families.

Our Activities

North Whidbey Sportsmen's Association conducts many activities throughout the year, many of which are open to the public.

Matches:

    • IDPA:  International Defensive Pistol Association matches are held the second Saturday of each month.
    • ASI:  Action Shooting International matches are held on the fourth Saturday of each month.

Events:

    • Member's Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm.
    • Trustee's Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm.
    • Trap:  While not a 'sanctioned' match per se, the trap range is open each Sunday from 2 to 5pm.

Range Rules

  1. Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
  3. Always keep the gun unloaded until you're ready to use it.
